Hailing from Ivory Park, Johannesburg, Suffocate SA is one of South Africa’s most compelling electronic music exports. After a decade refining his craft, he has emerged with a sound that seamlessly blends Afro House, Afro Tech, and 3Step.

His work has appeared on respected international labels including Nervous (US), Get Physical (GER), Stay True Sounds, Sondela, and Memories (FR), with collaborations and contributions alongside artists such as Thakzin, Zakes Bantwini, Black Coffee, Roland Clark, and Bonobo.

In 2025, he played a key role in Thakzin’s debut album, Gods Window Pt. I, further cementing his place among a new wave of forward-thinking African producers.
