Kenia (Kennedy Mburu) is an artist from the cultural hub of Mombasa, Kenya. In his artistic practice, he uses sound, beats, melodies and frequences as raw material to weave immersive, meditative and resonance-enabling experiences through music production, curation, and deejaying performances.

Kenia draws his influences from electronic music, tribal rhythms and his East Affrican cultural roots where sound and music serve as a platform for community-centered rituals and moments through introspection, movement and connection. He is on a mission to bring back sound and music as essential tools for community-building and healing.
