A founding member of the EA Wave Collective, Hiribae is a driving force behind Nairobi’s #NuNairobi movement, known for bold experimentation and cultural expression.

With roots in jazz and a background as a trumpet player, his sound blends Afrohouse, disco edits, electronic rhythms, and jazz-infused grooves, defined by airy synths, soulful brass, and thoughtful sampling.

A favorite DJ of the vibrant Nairobi scene, HIRIBAE has had notable performances at ‘Muze Open Air Pres Francis Mercier’, ‘Higher Ground with Diplo’, and showcased at platforms and festivals including BENEATH THE BAOBABS FESTIVAL (KILIFI), Nyege Nyege (Uganda), Bråvalla (Sweden), Kaleidoscope FESTIVAL (WATAMU), Blankets & Wine (NAIROBI), and Homecoming Pretoria (SA), affirming his growing international presence.
